Located in Yeongdeungpo, TIMES SQUARE is a multi-use entertainment space consisting of a department store, mall, movie theater, hotel, bookstores, supermarket and leasing offices. Urban Entertainment Lifestyle Center(UELC), which is based on the idea of shopping as a lifestyle, is the core concept of this project. With the concept, Junglim contributed to the introduction of various experiences and events through multiple central areas and a multitiered circulation, and to the realization of a “relaxing shopping environment through a spacious store composition and abundant leisure spaces”. Also operated by a tenant lease system, TIMES SQUARE suggests a new model for public space in 21st century Korea where consumption has become prevalent.
