The southern end of the site is adjacent to the neighborhood park at the tip of Daemo Mountain, which is a good residential location, and the inverted triangle form of the site made a crucial influence when determining the form of mass. The core goal of the design was to secure views of the park from the units of the building as much as possible while working with the natural topography, and a "7"-shaped mass that opens to the neighborhood park was planned based on the form of the site. Public outdoor spaces are created as open spaces that connect with the neighborhood facilities in front of the northern road. Deeper in the site there is a courtyard for occupants, which is strikingly well-harmonized with the neighborhood park. The courtyard guides residents to the amenities (e.g., fitness center, seminar rooms) and serves as a community space where they can gather, talk and rest. Considering the orientation and privacy of each unit was our priority. To address the shortcoming of the fact that the units face due north by the front road, we applied a diagonal line for the orientation of those units, and created a unique image in which the roof of the lower level units becomes the terrace of upper level units by moving the upper level units horizontally by onethird. This was an interesting project, as we overcame the constraint that officetel units are not allowed to have a balcony through a unique architectural plan. We have applied for a patent for this method. This project caused a new sensation in the residential officetel market, significantly influencing the residential unit sale market.
