The merit of the site?located at the entry point to Ilsan from Seoul?lies in its potential to act as a geographic and symbolic gateway to Ilsan. By placing a mixed-use facility that embodies living, commerce, culture and work on the site, JUNGLIM ARCHITECTURE sought to propose a new type of small city lifestyle. As a means of achieving this, a classic facade was designed to create a comfortable living environment infused with nature and a special sense of place. In particular, the commercial facilities located on the lower levels utilize a 1930s art deco style to give the entire complex an extravagant and foreign milieu.
